Problem
Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization delivered impactful arts and literacy programming, but its growth was constrained by informal, word-of-mouth operations. Curriculum offerings were not centralized, there was no streamlined way to package or sell services digitally, and the organization lacked the digital infrastructure needed to consistently attract new partners and customers.
Approach
As Marketing & Development Manager, I approached the challenge as a systems and scalability problem. My focus was on building digital infrastructure that could support program delivery, revenue generation, and audience growth simultaneously.
I combined UX research, platform analysis, and performance data to guide both the website redesign and marketing strategy, ensuring alignment between user needs, organizational goals, and operational efficiency.
Solution
I redesigned and developed a curriculum-focused website and e-commerce storefront that centralized Maroon 9’s services, making programs easier to understand, access, and purchase. The new structure supported clearer user flows for educators, partners, and families while enabling the organization to scale offerings beyond in-person referrals.
In parallel, I revamped Maroon 9’s social media presence using performance and trend analysis across platforms. I identified high-performing content niches, optimized posting strategy, and aligned messaging with the new service model to drive awareness and demand back to the site.
